Silence in the Library Publishing is pleased to announce the publication of The Cauldron, a collaboration between USA Today bestselling author Jean Rabe and New York Times bestselling author Gene DeWeese. Best known for her Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms novels, Jean Rabe has published more than two dozen fantasy and adventure novels and more than sixty short stories. The late Gene DeWeese, best known for his Star Trek novels, wrote more than forty books, including science fiction, fantasy, mystery, horror, romance, and nonfiction. For the release of The Cauldron, Jean has teamed up with Silence in the Library Publishing, a small press dedicated to artistry and equity in publishing.
If there is one thing that Carl Johnson knows for certain, it is that he is an ordinary man working an ordinary job in an ordinary world. But Carl is about to find out that everything he knows is wrong. As The Cauldron unfolds, the line between life and death and past and present blur, and Carl must fight his way through a miasma of memories bordering on madness. The fate of the world rests on his ability to make sense of it all.
