Full Cast of Galactica

Can a machine feel pain?
Who is the One God really?

If there's one thing I love about the new Battlestar Galactica, it's how close each week comes to crossing the line. You know, that invisible line that separates good from evil, religion from sacrilege, life from death, and humanity from the other.

We draw this line in the sand every day, not questioning, not noticing how clearly it defines our lives.

Flesh and Bone, the latest Battlestar Galactica episode danced all around that line.

Lt. Sharon "Boomer" Valerii, raptor pilot and rookie of the group, came out this week. She's a Cylon. She passed the test to prove it, but will she ever find out the truth?

Lt. Kara Thrace (Starbuck) came out. She's not a Cylon, but she did come out and help answer the ultimate question -- can you torture a toaster to death? The Cylons came out. All robots are not created equal. Leave that fluffy stuff for those tree hugging Marxist Borg types. Even the president came out for a inter-ship jaunt.

Finally, Captain William Adama was outed. Well, somewhat - it was, after all, a Cylon agent who made the allegation that he was one of them.

In dealing with a Cylon agent, remember, they get inside your head. All they say is truth mixed in with lies. Can you tell them apart?

Some might say it's a matter of faith.

Overall Rating:
Ten out of Twelve Lords of Kobol

We didn't get a happy ending on this one, but at least casualties were kept to a minimum. Sort of.
