STARGATE SG-1

More News on SG-1 Cancellation
From MultiChannel.Com: "People close to the production of Stargate SG-1 said Sci Fi Channel canceled the series on the eve of its 200th episode, which aired last Friday night, making the show the first cable scripted series to reach such a milestone.

Spinoff series Stargate Atlantis -- which also airs Friday nights on Sci Fi and shares producers and production facilities with the older SG-1 -- was said to be unaffected by the cancellation. Atlantis is currently in its third season." Read the Full Story

Dradis Drabble Writing is resuming. The Dradis Weekly Drabble Writing fan fic contest will be restarting next week, September 11, 2006. Look for a more coherent update on the Dradis webpage and later this week in this blog. As you know, the Buzz has had to take some time off due to family distress. We are resuming posting and playing in the SF arena this month.

NaNoWriMo Fan Fic Starts September 15th: What does this mean? It's called Write A Book In A Month, and the Buzz has taken up the challenge because we are crazy. I am starting to write a book in a month, and anybody looking to join this lunacy is welcome to write me for details which will be released later on this week. Unbelievable Science Fiction Writing.
Avid Gamer delivered the following science fiction news: Basically the website is a blog of the game development process of a new online RPG type game - but the story lines and wonderful 'encyclopedia like' entries they post each day are hilarious. I love reading them each day.

Excerpt from creation..:
"where one man would rise up and say "This is mine, it belongs to god!" another would kill him, saying, "No! This is mine and belongs to god!" This all saved God a lot of trouble and God was very pleased."
